There will not be a meeting in August of the Children’s Services Council.  The next meeting of the Council will be on September 3, 2026 at 5:30 PM.  This will be the first public hearing of the budget.

In 1990, Okeechobee County residents voted to establish a special district of local government to levy local property taxes to help children reach their full potential. The Children’s Services Council of Okeechobee County makes best use of the tax dollars by investing in children’s prevention and intervention strategies that provide long term savings to the community as well as long term benefits to children and families.
